COMMUNITY MEETING - re Flooding, River & Harbor Maintenance

COMMUNITY MEEETING, is being held January 7th at 10am at Port Franks Community Centre.

This is to provide the opportunity for the concerns regarding Flood Prevention, River and Harbour Maintenance to be brought to a single voice.  This being organized by the Port Franks Yacht Club.

    The January 7th community meeting was well attended. There were approximately 150 people in attendance. Plus Councilor Lori Scott and Deputy Mayor Dan Sageman were in attendance. There presentations from seven different persons representing Marinas, businesses in the community, plus Port Franks community associations. Plus some individual concerns presented. A committee of 10 members representing all aspects of the has been formed and will hold it's first meeting January 21st.
